Course Description
The BLS course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals with the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner, who require certification for employment purposes.
This is an instructor led course by one of our certified AHA instructors with simulated clinical scenarios and real time feedback so that at the end of the course each participant will be able to:
*Explain the importance of early CPR
*Recall the basic steps of 1 and 2 rescuer CPR for adults, children and infants
*Explain the importance of early defibrillation
*Recall the basic steps for use of an AED
*Recall the basic steps to relieve choking for responsive and unresponsive *victims over 1 year of age and for infants
*Explain the importance of each link in the adult and pediatric Chain of Survival

Class Time: Approx. 3 hours
This course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements (i.e. teachers, daycare workers, fitness trainers, babysitters, lifeguards, or anyone). Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to identify cardiac arrests and other emergencies as well as how to give care quickly until more advanced care providers arrive.

Class Time: Approx. 3 hrs
This is an online/eLearning course that is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in First Aid use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to identify and respond to emergencies as well as how to give care quickly until more advanced care providers arrive.

This is an AHA eLearning course that provides a convenient method to get certified (includes online learning, questions & exam). You will come to our training center for a hands-on skills session instructor led course by one of our certified AHA instructors & then you will take the skills test. Please be sure to complete the eLearning course on the AHA website prior to your skills session/skills test & bring a copy of your certification with you.
